David Dickens...who I am

I'm David Dickens.

...a native Southerner.

...a living, breathing, walking dichotomy.

I can trace my roots to the founding of our country...to the House of Burgesses...

...and in Black Hills of North Carolina lies the dust and bones of ancestors who walked these lands long before Europeans even knew this continent existed.

I'm a triple threat: A singer, a dancer, and an actor. I can perform Shakespeare better than a lot of famous screen actors...and can find the sweet spot on any microphone...and of any room.

Using my speaking skills, and southern charm...I worked for a Fortune 500 company and was able to grow my business 300% and brought down about 10 million in sales in just 3 years. I was the only person on our floor without a college degree.

I'm also a Disc Jockey...and a sound-reinforcement expert: I can program light-boards, digital mixers, and sound-boards.

I solder my own audio cables, repair electronic equipment...and have even resoldered computer motherboards back to working condition.

I'm a Computer, Software, and Networking Expert...who can wire up offices, homes and buildings, set networking equipment, configure servers and can customize software installations....I've even rewrittien flawed installation routines from very large multi-billion dollar software companies so that already purchased software will work like it's supposed to...thereby saving my employer money & manpower.

I make unified computer images that work on either AMD or Intel based machines without worrying about Microsoft Service Packs.

Regedit is my friend.

I have completed no formal training in any of these things...and hold no degrees.

Success has managed to elude me for many years...but I am starting to realize that I am a lost commodity: A free thinker who is incapable of thinking inside the box.

...and I'm modest too.
