All men are created equal....including Governor Spitzer

I would not be worth the salt in my personage if I did not comment on the Eliot Spitzer mess unfolding in the Great State of New York.

I have 3 words:

1. WOW!
2. Stupid
3. Tragic.

Although the Civil-Libertarian in me is trying to figure out why banks are flagging our every move to the IRS, and the part of me that knows of human frailties finds it hard to pass any sort of judgement on a guy with an obvious weakness...I can't help but think how incredibly stupid it was of Governor Spitzer to not realize that the people he is up against will fail at nothing to destroy him.

Why, therefore would he surreptitiously place the dagger of his own demise into the sweaty palm of the opposition?

I guess Tommy had it right: All men ARE created equal.
